Policemen Arrest Esut Students During Their Second Exam.

Demanding for #10,000 bail fee before allowing them to write their exams.

There has been a consistent clamp down on students of Enugu State University of Science and Technology since they commenced their second semester.

iving accounts of their experiences, some of the victims arrested said they were in their rooms when the policemen came and arrest them and demand for amounts ranging from #10,000 to #20,000. They went further to lament how the policemen told them that they only have the option of paying the bail fee or miss their degree exams.

One of the departmental presidents who sought the help of his HOD to release his fellow students narrated how the HOD wrote a report to the Vice Chancellor through the Dean of Students Affairs for them to take actions and stop the ugly trend which has prevented many students from writing their exams.
